Cats We Love

This is just fun page we are in the process of putting together. It's a page of different

cats, past and present that we love.

These are not our cats, nor are they our breeding.  They are cat's that we feel are exceptional examples of the breed and add to the greater benefit of the cat fancy and CFA.

GRC, NW Sunny Ridge Polar Express of Wishes.

2008 Cat Of The Year

A very special thank you to Sharon Markus and Sunny Ridge Persians

for our two new special additions:

Sunny Ridge Es Complicado of Cinema

Sunny Ridge Braveheart of Cinema

Both by Polar.  Look for them in ths show halls soon.

NW Sunny Ridge Bi-Polar of Wishes.

I first saw bi-polar when she was 2 months old.  I asked Sharon to PLEASE let me take her home.  Sharon told me she was already promised to Connie Stewart who showed her to 7th best kitten 2011.

GRC, RW Prideomine The Sting, D.M.

"Stinger" was an incredible cat worthy of a National Win and way ahead of his time.  We always thought he was one of the best cats ever.

GC NW Sarouk's Satellite of KC Dancers DM

Surprised to see a non-Persian cat on our site?  Don't be.  Anyone who knew or ever saw Satellite tended to never forget him.  We were fortunate enough to have two of his daughters as part of our family.

GRC, NW Windborne Guardian Angel

We were always huge fans of Guardian Angel and were so fortunate to be able to have one of his daughters in our breeding program in the early '90's.

GRC, NW Toshika's Summer Delight DM

I will never forget the first time I saw Summer.   I was at Penny's house and Summer was shaved and living as a pet in Penny's house.  She was one of the most beautiful cats I ever saw in person.

GRC RW Raintree Lane Acclaim of Woodland

"Claim" was owned by Sharon Markus of Sunny Ridge Persians.  He was her foundation cat thru the 1980's and was the sire and/or background for many of our origianl and early cats in the 1980's as well.  He was very much ahead of his time in those early years.

GRC, NW Toshika's Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams was a cat I fell in love with.  She was also the mother to our GRC, NW Toshika's Day Dreamer of Cinema.  When Penny went out of cats, the plan was that Sweet Dreams was to come to us, however she ended up wiht a breeding issue and had to be spayed.

GRC NW Wishes Lyric

CFA Cat of The Year   We only got to see Lyric a few times, but thought he wasa absoutely beautiful and we never forgot him.
